Extensive air-sealing was required. Walls were made thicker to allow more insulation. New insulation was installed in the attic and under the floor. A plastic vapor barrier was installed in the crawlspace. New electical wiring was installed along with all-new plumbing. Gutter drains were rerouted and a French drain was intalled to reduce moisture levels around the house.
